Policy not updating client

I’ve made a new mailbox policy that targets just my account in a provisioning group that is ranked higher than the general one.  In the Offline Vault settings under the new mailbox policy I’ve made just for me, I’ve set the “Offline archives enabled state” to All users.  I have run the Provisioning task and then gone to the mailbox archiving task, restarted it and went to resync with my account. I’ve opened and closed outlook several times and it has not enabled the offline vault for me.  I can manually do it (I have cached mode enabled as it is required) but I’m expecting it to do it for me.  Why does this not work?

Further to that, Several days ago I changed the PST migration policy to delete instead of change to read only.  Today I had a PST file start and finish migrating and it only marked it as read-only when it was done.

I have restarted EV services and run the resetevclient on my client.

I've tried everything I can think of... Thoughts?

Do you have it set to delete a PST only after a successful backup?

Ended up contacting support to figure out the offline vault thing... We ended up adding a new registry file to be able to delete the hidden message in outlook for Enterprise Vault OfflineVault. seemed to work on two of my machines after that, was hoping it wasnt a per machine fix though.

As for your PST Problem:

There might be some content left in the PST not eligible for archiving, which could lead to the PST not getting deletid.

Cheers
