You need to create an AD OU only for that machine and move the machine there and assign a policy for it. Either that or do not use AD sync.

seems like your sepm is integraged with AD. in that case you wont be able to assign policy to a single client. policy will always be applied to a group and not to single machine.
You can create a new OU move the computer then assign the policy from SEPM. You cannot move AD Integrated to any new group created within SEpM

You may also create a dedicated group for that system and copy it from the OU-sync'd group to this new group so you can apply custom policies to it.

"Thumbs Up" to Beppe for this.  It is just:

    1. Create new custom (non AD linked) group in SEPM
    2. Assign policies as required
    3. Right Click on required client from SEPM and "copy" it to the new group

Agree on all above. You need to create a new group in AD and move the system in that group then after that you can apply the policy from SEPM to that group.

    HI,

If you have AD integrated with SEPM you need to create a separate OU for this client and sync with SEPM before applying policy.
