Hello,

I'm intending to replicate a policy from one manager to another with help of the policytool:

policytool import <server_ip> <usr> <pwd> policyfilename

As a result I will get the message like the SU level on the target manager is lower than on previous esm manager.

I've solved this problum by adding -force option.

But still, I've got the question: how can I manage SU levels: make it higher or lower? And what are they for?

• Security Updates in ESM cannot be lowered, Run live update on the ESM manager from the console to ensure you are on the latest SU. You can distribute the SU on the agents by running a policy on that agent.
• SU's are updates for ESM, any bug fix or enhancements are released through them.

The latest security update is SU42 dated 2011.09.01
