 My LiveUpdate does not update, and I activate the license
What ports need to be opened in the firewall?

I added the ports in the firewall and still no update, there
Anything else I should consider?

Are you seeing any errors in the logs?

May be you are running into the JLU timeout issue mentioned in the following KB article:

Have you already increased the timeout value?

Do you see any errors in jlu-controller_log file?

I mark the following and I still get an update

2010-01-13T15:30:00-06:00 (ERROR:3484.3072923328): [54008] The JLU process appears to be hanging and will be terminated.

I see that you have increased the timeout to 20 minutes (from the default value of 10 minutes).  May be this is not enough depending on your connection speed.  You can increase this timeout to as high as 90 minutes.  I suggest trying a higher value to rule out that slow connection is the issue.

If after trying this, you still can not get updates, then it is possible that you are running into another known issue described in the following KB:

One other thing you can try before opening up a ticket with support is to switch to Rapid Response updates.
