Is it possible to modify the ServiceDesk 7.1.2 Login page? If so, how?

Unfortunately, Single Sign-On does not consistently logon Active Directory users automatically, regardless of IE web browser versions and regardless of whether or not the website is added to either the Local Intranet or Trusted Sites zones. If a user is not logged into ServiceDesk automatically and is presented with the Login page, I would like to include text indicating that the user must insert either their primary smtp e-mail address, or, that they must insert the domain along with their Active Directory username (DOMAIN\username). If the user does not insert either their primary e-mail address or specify the domain along with their LAN credentials, then an "invalid Username/Password" message is received.

Internet Explorer versions that have been tested are:

    -IE 7 (7.0.5730.13CO)

    -IE 8 (8.0.6001.18702)

    -IE 9 (9.0.8112.16421)

ServiceDesk Process Manager Active Directory Settings are as follows:

Admin > Portal > Master Settings > Process Manager Active Directory Settings:

    • Active Directory: Checked/Enabled
    • Convert Native Users to Active Directory User: Unchecked/Disabled
    • Process AD Changes Using Workflow: Greyed Out/Unavailable
    • Ignore AD Users (Comma separated): null
    • Sync Only Users: Checked/Enabled
