Post Form on Value Change - Date/Time Picker

matzebru's picture

The DateTimePicker Component doesn't have an option for "Post Form on Value Change". I want to use two of these components together with the first one always being visible and the second one being only visible if the first one is a value after the current date/time (to set the due date on a ticket). The visibility of the second is controlled through dynamic model in the 2nd control that compares the 1st DateTime picker's value to the current date.

Since the "Post Form on Value Change" option is missing from the DateTimePicker Components, is there another way I can post the form when the first DateTime control changes value, without using a separate component which I'm using as a work-around now?

Thanks for any suggestions!

Have you played with the

Have you played with the "Hide Control By Value" option under Custom Events?  Generally this behavior does not require a post to realize the changes.  However, the logic to check against the current date may be more difficult.  You can use the "Get Current Date" component to store your validation as a variable, but I have not played with this personally.
