Premium Anti-Spam Toolbar Not Displayed

Created: 28 Aug 2007 • Updated: 21 May 2010 | 1 comment
I have a Windows 2000 terminal server running Outlook XP. There is one user on the terminal server that is unable to view the premium anti-spam toolbar, even though bmioutlookplugin is selected in the Outlook add-in manager. Any other user (admin, or otherwise) on the system can use the toolbar just fine. This user was able to use the toolbar previously. I have tried disabling/enabling the add-in, and tried creating a new Outlook profile, but neither helped. The email system is Information Foundation 6.0.1.193 and Exchange 2003 SP2.

I am at a loss as to where to go from here, and haven't found anything in the forums or support site. Any help that anyone might provide is greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

Brandon

Have you tried adding a toolbar?  (View-Toolbars  /  Tools-Customize-Toolbars)

Try utilizing the Outlook bar view.  (instead of folder view)

Otherwise you may try r-clicking in the obvious locations.  You'd be suprised of how many features can be hidden in outlook when r-clicking.

Good luck!
