  • 1.  To prevent mail delivery (sending) of other domains

    Hello,

    We  use brightmail for Inbound and outbound mail filtering. Brightmail attempt to send a lot of mails from other domains. 

    I want to block outgoing mail from other domains.  How can I do it?

    SMG Current software version: 10.5.4-4

    You need to lock down who can send outbound on the Messaging Gateway. The way SMTP works is that you can put whatever you want for the From: address, so any server whose IP is in the outbound acceptance list will be able to send from whatever the author chose to type.
