Endpoint Protection

I want to be able to run an install behind the scenes with absolutely no prompt to the end users. What does happen, is once SEP has completed, users will receive the prompt to restart. Is there any way to prevent this? I want this to be a 100% silent install.

Needs to be a silent install. On the edit install settings >> Restart settings tab, make sure to set to No Restart

THAN

Go to Clients page >> Policies >> General Settings. Also, select No Restart

Check the bolded part above, that could be what you're missing.

It's still prompting users to restart.

The only way would be if the setting above is not checked or on the Client Install Settings >> Restart Settings tab, this could also be configured to ask for a restart.

Or if this is an unmanaged install...

The setting is checeked, the groups are inheriting it from "My Company" and it is a managed installation. I add the packages to the groups and set the days to 0 in order to push it out ASAP.

Further down the prompt options are there, mine was set to "prompt with a countodwn of 5 mins" I switched to "no prompt"

Good to get rid of that, users tend to get freaked out when they have to "restart outta nowhere"
