При установке SEP 12 автоматически не удаляется Drweb

    При установке SEP 12.1.5 c помощью SEP Manager выбираю параметр "Автоматически удалить существующее программное обеспечение безопасности". После чего клиент SEP устанавливается на рабочую станцию, но DrWeb Enterprise Agent (v6.0) остается.После перезагрузки (когда SEP попросит) ничего не меняется. Снятие галочки "Самозащита" не помогает. В статье http://www.symantec.com/business/support/index?page=content&id=TECH195029 указано, что есть возможность удаления более старшей версии дрвеб.

    Наша организация хочет перейти на использование продукта Symantec, но этот ньюанс очень мешает переходу. Не могли бы вы помочь?

    Not sure if I under stood your correctly

    you should be using sysprep toool

    Is Dr web in the INI file as one to delete? Have you trued sepprep?

    In the INI file check to see if product name is listed, if not you can have the software name added, it will remove that

    3.  [ProductNames]  This section lists the name of any product to uninstall. The SEPprep tool will search through the Add/Remove Programs for any product whose name matches part of or all of the strings listed here. The tool will go through this list in the order listed. Note: The tool will match even a part of the name specified.

    is INI of sepprep ? No, I dont use this, in "installation and administration guide" I saw only 1 way to delete - it's checkbox in SEP manager. Ok now I will try sepprep.. Should I will have one "drweb" in INI? And how specifically drweb shall look there? Thanks.

    Ok I'm checked it, Drweb Is not listed in "Add/Remove Programs". I'ts problem... What can I do?

    Use the sepprep tool found I. Cd2 tools folder of sepm from fileconnect add the product code in the INI file

    all the installed products are listed under

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall

     
    findout the prodcut code for the software you want to uninstall and enter it in the .INI file

    You need to add it to the .ini file. Once that's done, SEPPrep knows to remove it.

    seems like the product was unistalled but there are few left overs, No other go,

    call them get the removal tool then install SEP
