I am running Liveupdate Administrator 2.2.1.13.
I am using Symantec System Center 10.1.8.8000
I have one server and it is a primary server. I have one client group. All clients are in this one group.
I can get all of my clients to update successfully from my Liveupdate Distribution center. The primary server does not.
I've tried going to all tasks > Symantec Antivirus > Virus Definition Manager on the server group. Inside the definition manager, it appears to separate the server from the clients. I've tried every possible configurable combination. I've tried updating only the primary server of this server group. I click Configure > Source. I've tried both Liveupdate, and another protected server.
I've checked the logs and it says the definitions are up to date, which is stuck on 2/11/09, even though all clients have the latest (today is 2/25/09)
I configured live update for the server by clicking all tasks > live update > configure on the server group. I've pointed it to internal liveupdate server and have configured it to the liveupdate administrator distribution center, which happens to be located on this same server.
The clients seem to update fine. The primary server keeps saying the definitions are current.
