Primary site with 2 replication partners only using the embedded DB

    Hello,

if i setup 1 new site (with embedded DB) and 2 addition replication partners (with embedded DBs) will that work? or do i need a SQL server

the reason im asking is beacuse of the following statment from the "how replication works" in the admin guide

If you use an embedded database, you can only connect one Symantec Endpoint
Protection Manager. If you use the Microsoft SQL Server database, you can
connect multiple management servers that share one database. Only one of
the management servers needs to be set up as a replication partner

also, whats the difference between replication partner and a site partner?

    thanks for the help

I've replicated 1 embedded DB between 3 SEPMs. It's not ideal so I would recommend SQL if you can but it is possible to get it working.

Replication partners are just two or more SEPMs that replicate the data between one another.

A site consists of one database, one or more management servers, and clients
