  • 1.  Printer Sharing blocked by SEP Unmanaged

    Purchased computer that had SEP installed. I set up printer sharing on new computer. SEP is blocking this share, for the old computer. The only way I can get the share to work, is to disable Network Threat Protection. I have tried adding a rule that allows traffic for the IP range of my home network and putting the new rule and #1.

     

    Any ideas on what else I can try?

    Is this happening on all windows plat form ?

    If this is happening on one single machine please let me know the version of Sep installed ,

    Is this a network printer which is using its own IP controlled by print server ?

    Under lan properties check if IPV6 is enabled if yes disable it reboot the machine and then try using printer keeping NTP enabled

    You can configure a blank firewall rull to allow your printing application, or by the IP address if this is a network printer.
