    Symantec must create utility which will repair Symantec Endpoint Protection 11.x Proactive issues.  Manually solutions given by Symantec not work.

    Hello,

    Are you talking about ProActive Threat Protection Definitions issues?

    Have you created any case with Symantec?

    Could you provide the Case #, let me look at it.

    Hi,

    Give Internet access on problematic machine.

    Search settings.liveupdate

    rightclick on settings.liveupdate and uncheck readonly.

    openwith in notepad.

    find timeout

    there is 45 increase it to 45000.

    goto controlpanel, symantec liveupdate

    select interactive mode.

    click ok

    goto Start

    Run  type luall.exe

    Click ok.
