    Hello,

My first post here. We have just upgraded our Symantec Endpoint Protection from version 11.0.6 to 12.1.1 (most current AFAIK). With the 11.0.6 there had been no problems at all. I have upgraded 3 unmanaged clients on my 3 PCs. Everything seems to be working OK except that the Proactive Threat Protection does not update the definitions date which is stacked on:

    Monday, 14 November 2011 r11

The other two components - the Virus and Spyware Protection as well as the Network Threat Protection update their definitions' dates! Ihave used the SEP-SupportTool and reset the BASH (Proactive Threat Protection) definitions but it updated again to 14 Nov 2011 and stopped there.

I have been trying for hours to reach Symantec Support on email but it is impossible! I cannot say for sure that the actual updating is halted, but I would feel better if I see the changing of the date too.

Can somebody help with a solution?

    Thanks in advance,

    SDE,

Thank you for this crutial info! Indeed latest ProactiveThreatProtection is 14 Nov 2011. But my previous version [11.0.6] had a newer date before I upgraded... - can you explain this?

    Thanks in advance,

    Hello golubovski,

Proactive Threat Protection in SEP11 and SEP12 are different things. You can find some information in this post: http://www.symantec.com/connect/forums/proactive-threat-protection-definitions-sep-121-stale.
