Proactive Threat Scan disabled on all clients due to old definitions

Proactive Threat Scan is showing as disabled on client machines due to old definitions.
However, the definitions are from today and are not old at all. Can somebody tell me why this is happening?

Yeah, PTP is off on the servers like you stated, but this isn't causing the client to appear with a red dot indicating a problem.
Only the workstations which are running XP SP3 are doing that.
PTP Disabled
Check the steps followed in the given document and it will help you restore the PTP definitions.

Which is the version you are using?
If it is not RU5(11.0.5) pls upgrade to RU5 .In RU5 there is a fix for this problem...

There is an online portal, save yourself the long hold times. Create ticket online, then call in with ticket # in hand :-) http://mysupport.symantec.com "We backup data to restore, we don't backup data just to back it up."
I have upgraded all of the
I have upgraded all of the clients to RU5 so that isn't the issue.
I have also rebooted both the server and the clients to no avail.
Do I need to call tech support and sit on hold for several hours to see if I can get this problem taken care of?
I've attached a screenshot as evidence.
Export a package with client
Export a package with client install setting "Remove previous logs and settings....." and push it to these clients.

Also in the SEPM ..AV policy
Also in the SEPM ..AV policy -for Truscan make sure Scan for Keylogers and Scan for trojans and worms' are both enabled and locked.

Try by repairing the client from add/remove programs
This is a managed client, am I right?
Because live update button is not grayed out this will happen only in unmanaged clients and in managed clients were the manual launch of liveupdate allowed ..

This is a managed client where the manual launch of liveupdate is allowed.
I don't see any reason our end users shouldn't be able to launch LiveUpdate on their own if they need to for some reason.
Check the update status on
Check the update status on SEPM
1. Open SEPM->Admin->Servers->Local Site
2. Show Liveupdate Downloads
if tis old then try to clear the update...
