I installed a new NS yesterday and pointed it to a local SQL instance. This morning I changed the SQL instance to another server and I receive this each time I try to do anything on the console.

Try running a mini-setup - http://localhost/Altiris/NS/Install/NSSetup.aspx.

I've tried that several times to no avail. I've also tried KB34333

Are you using SQL or Windows authentication? If you are using Windows, the account needs to have dbo privileges to the SQL server.

Windows Authentication and the permissions are set to DBO for the altiris account that is accessing. Another odd thing is that I can access everything from the 6.0 console but I get the error when trying to go into a 6.5 console.

when I run the mini setup

when I run the mini setup http://localhost/Altiris/NS/Install/NSSetup.aspx it gets to the NS (3%) -Dropping old SQL objects and does not move on.

I've cancel it and now I get the "You currently do not have sufficient network access rights to the Notification Server console"
