Problem in Ahead Nero 9

Hi,
We are creating Ahead Nero 9 package and getting an error.
Application gets installs properly in UI mode but when we try installing application with /q or /qb mode application crashes. doing further investigation we come to know "advrcntr4.dll", which referred in log file at %temp% location, we have tried registering same file after locating it in "c:\windows\system32\" but same problem repeats.
Please suggest the solution to install the application in silent mode (only progress bar should appear)
If any of you has packaged it and know the solution then it will be good to get some input.

Have you checked appdeploy.com?

Look
in the UI sequence for custom actions that are executed, but are not repeated in the InstallExecute sequence. Also as spoohead7 has suggested, have a shimmy on Appdeploy. Nero is a regular there as it is one of the most auwfull botched MSI installation available as a commercial package.

We have tried all that and checked appdeploy as well. It is that if there is a single license then it does not install silently and only if it is a multi user license, only then it will install silently.
We have still not got any solution on this.

You've found
the problem yourselvels then... you have three choices:
1. Get a multi-user license
2. "Capture" the installation, (it's a travesty that this is called an 'MSI' installation anyway), but you loose vendor support and the possibilites of updates etc. (nearly every couple of days)
3. Look for an alternative product.
