I just googled this and found

I just googled this and found an answer in another forum from Mr Bob Stump:

you need the license and software for
Feature: MS Exchange extension (Active)

Sounds about right if you're only hitting the issue with .pst files.

This is not a licensing

This is not a licensing issue. The reason you see errors when backing up PST files (Microsoft Outlook) is because they are open files. The PST files can get very large and they are locked when a user has them opened in an Outlook profile. I backup terabytes of NAS data using CIFS and the most common missed files are PST.
