Problem downloading Norton 2009 from internet!!!! help me, I'm getting really mad...

Okay so i downloaded it and it keeps coming up saying, removing other norton product forom computer..then it says restart. So ive been doing that for a long time and I have literally tried everything. I looked for norton 360 (which i had previously) in the uninstall a program thing and its gone. SO HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!!
