    Hi,

    I have purchased 80 licenses of Symantec Endpoint Protection. I have syncronized my computers with Active Directory from Windows, and I installed 83 Endpoints on my network.

    Passed some time, I removed 20 computers with my domain (it had SEP installed), but the SEP Manager say that have 83 used licenses.

    How to make to update this number of 83 to 63 used licenses ?

    Hello,

    The over-deployed licenses would be taken care in next 1 day.

    If not, check this article:

    Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager is showing over deployment of clients

    For 12.1 Enterprise Edition, over deployed clients work normally. However you would keep receiving an alert notification for the same.

    Just to clarify, the 24hours indicated above is dependent upon the SEP Client on the machines no longer communciating with the SEPM (i.e SEP uninstalled or machine off), and the computer account having been removed from AD and the synced OU (which will eventually result in the client record being removed from the SEPM's DB after the next AD sync).

    The client record being removed from the SEPM's DB is the end aim, as only then will it release the license.
