Hi,

  We are facing problem while trying to uninstall SEP client from one PC. It hangs at a place where it displays "Gathering required information" and does not proceed ahead. Please suggest.

Try to Uninstall in safe mode ...

Or using Clean wipe tool

Please remove the Symantec entries from registry

Revo uninstaller is third party s/w, try the revo if cleanwipe not owrk.
