  • 1.  Problem with Symantec EndPoint

    I have been receiving a message from Symantec Endpoint warning about not being protected. It actually states that there are multiple problems. This is a new Windows 7 machine, recently given to me. I have attached the warning message. I hope I have included the image from a DOCX file.

    Please post the text of the error. Which version of SEP do you have? Is the notification on the client desktop or something seen in the SEPM?  Is this machine on the domain or at home?

    The message you've attached did not show up.
    However, may I ask what is the version of Symantec Endpoint Protection you are currently ruuning? Because we have the versions for Endpoint Protection that's compatible with Windows 7, the version 11.0.5 which was released September 19,2009 and also the version 11.0.6 released April 05,2010. These are the versions compatible with your Windows 7 servers.

    This no longer appears, apparently due to LiveUpdate (I can think of no other!). How do I close this forum?
