You have opened the thread on the incorrect forum. The issue you have is with SEP & this forum is SEM (Symantec Endpoint Management altiris.).

Anyways it seems that you have multipal problem.

First problem : Client not updating..

      - On the client go to Help and Support then Troubleshooting and check if the client is talking to the manager. If you see the server name or IP then it is talking, if you see oflline then it is not talking to the manager.

    - If not talking to the manager then torubleshoot the connection problem, If talking then check on the server.

    - On the server check if it is getting the update. Dont check on the home tab it will not give you correct information.. Check the updates on the Admin tab.. You will have to check if the 32 bit & 64 bit is updating. If not updating on the server then Run luall in the run window.

Second Problem : "Internet Auto Protect is disabled"

    - This Error comes only when the internet email autoprotec policy is disable on the server & enable on the client. go to add/remove program & disable it on the client Or enable the policy on the server.

Please close this thread & if you need any more help on SEP then open a thread under the below mentioned link.
