  • 1.  Problem uninstalling SEP 11.0.5 - Password Needed

    Good morning,
     
     
     
    I'm trying to do a silent uninstall of Endpoint protection 11.0.5 with CMS 7.
     
    During the uninstall process I receive  the following error "1602"; 
    looking around seem that the error is due to the uninstall password.
     
    I have found some procedure to disable that password for sav changing
    some registry key; but for my version of SEP i haven't found nothing.
     
     
     
    Could someone help me.

    Generate the installer from within the SEP console, then script it to run without any switches. The installer the SEP console generates will include the password, a silent install, and a reboot at the end.

    If the client are talking  to the SEP manager then disable the uninstall password.
