  • 1.  Problem with Unmanaged client

    Hi!

    With a newly purchased licence for SEP 12 I have just installed the first client - unmanaged on laptop running Win XP Home edition SP3

    Everything went fine , the product updated great . At the end I even restarted the computer .

    However , I have a problem . Proactive scan is enabled but I can't change the settings due to the fact that "Your administrator has locked the feauture"

    This is impossible. This is clean Windows installation . How do I fix this ?

    The account using which you have logged in is it a member of / or a local admin ?

    Of course - administrator account.

    I just restored from a clean image I created a few days ago just after Windows was installed , reinstalled SEP 12 unamanaged and the result is the same - TruScan settings are locked.

    Looks like the same ...

    While I was testing SEP 11 unmanaged this was not like that . Very strange
