Hello everybody!
I'm new to forum and really need help.

Problem with SEP 12.1
I migrated to Release 11.x 12.X, after several problems presented to migrate clients(Only using the ClenaWipe, solved the problems), now I'm having problems with the upgrade of clients.

In version 11.x when he needed to add some technology to a client, for example:
The Client is installed only with: Virus, Spyware, and Basic Download Protection

But then I would like to add and SONAR NETWORK THREAT PROTECTION

So in the 11.x was necessary to change the package only the group but 12.X versionand how it works?

When I change only the package, shows the Deployment Status:
Message: Client has ignored upgrade package, version 12.1.671.4971.
Satus: The client Decided to reject the upgrade package

It is necessary to install all over again?
I really need help for enternder the process.

when you want to upgrade to

when you want to upgrade to SEP 12.1 you can select the package set and include the SONAR module, this is part of PTP.

For to upgrade you try importing the packages as that of running onclient into SEPM and try upgrade.

Autoupgrade

Hello,

After you Upgrade the SEPM from version 11 to version 12.1, you can simply assign the new 12.1 packages  to the Groups for Autoupgrade.

Fine, but do not get it

Fine, but do not get it yet.
In this case, my customers have installed only Spywere and Virus Protection.

How do I add or SONAR Protection Network on the clients?

I need to overwrite the installation, or is there some way to update the protection of clients.

Thank you. I do not know

Thank you.

I do not know what is happening. But it did not work.

I used this trick in SEP 12.1. and everything worked.

In the SEP 12.1 does not work.

Some customers appear in the Deployment Status: Install Sucessufull. You must restart ...

But when I restart nothing happens.

Do you have any tip I can use??

What is the correct way to set the agenda? The problem this can there?

When I look at properties, customers see it:

Without installing a new package over the current.

Please!! Help!!

There are several important

There are several important items to remember when updating the client feature set from SEPM:

1. Make sure you uncheck the "Maintain existing client features when updating".  If you don't uncheck this then the clients will not do anything.

2. Make sure you uncheck the "Upgrade Schedule" checkbox.  This way the clients chose to update their feature set immediately.

3. Make sure that the package you assign to the group is the same build number as the SEP clients in the group.  If you assign an older build for this then the clients will ignore the settings.

4. Make sure you assign the correct bit rate (32bit vs. 64bit).  Clients will only look at packages with their bit rate.  If you assign a 64bit package, for example, and you have only 32bit clients then they will ignore the settings.

5. In most cases once the client has added or removed features you will need to reboot the client for the changes to be complete.
