  • 1.  Problemas com hostname do client a com manager enterprise

    Pessoal,

     

    Estou com problemas do client estar com nome antigo da maquina apontando para o servidor SEP manager, na maquina ja entrei no regedit dela apaguei tudo que tinha relacionado o nome antigo e ainda continua o nome antigo da maquina.

    EX: antigo hostname : MACHINEold1  renomei o nome dela para Machine1, e no enteprise manager aparece o host antigo e não o novo como deveria.

    Alguem pode me ajudar nesse caso?

    Dears,

     

    I'm having problems with the client being the ancient name of the machine pointing to the SEP manager server, the machine went into regedit it already deleted everything that had linked the old name is still the old name of the machine.
     
    EX: old hostname: MACHINEold1 rename her name to machine1, and the host enteprise manager appears old and not new as it should.
     
    Can anyone help me in this case?

    Did you replace the sylink file with one from the new SEPM? You just need to replace it to get it to point to the new SEPM.

    If you're on SEPM 12.1.2 or higher, see here on how to replace it from the SEPM.

    I think that you missunderstood me, the problem is the following:

    We have a SEPM that is duplicating the names of thet machines.

    For example, if I have a machine named machine1 and rename it to Machine2.

    Even after renaming the machine name when i try to check it on SEPM, it shows me both, Machine1 AND machine2
     
    Could you please help-me to solve that?

    And when you delete the old machine name, it re-appears?

    Yes appear back together with the new one.

    Try clearing the hardware ID as per steps outlined here by Mithun Sanghavi
