Problems Altiris on HP t5730 running on XPE
When I start the service Altiris service, the icon appears in the right bottom of the screen.
However, after a few seconds, it disappears again
A result, Im not able to configure the Altiris client
The service is running under the security settings :
Local system account on
Allow service to interact with desktop on
The Hardware profile is enabled,
Anyone got an idea?

Isn't the aclient icon not just hidden?

It is not hidden, it shows up for a few seconds after we restart the aclient service , and then disappears again

This might be a little late but....
I had the same thing with the default image HP provides. I think the problem is the AClient is so out of date it tries to connect but can't and then fails. I fixed the problem by doing a manual install from the Deployment Server. Hope that helps.
