I have starting using Norton Ghost on my job. Its a great program - but I have some issues I can´t solve.

How do I make a manually client install file ? Right now I am using a batfile to run a client-msi, because remote install for some reason doesnt seem to work.

Actually I wonder why remote client install doesn´t work. I can from the network tree see the computers, but every time I try to install a client - it tells me following :

29-09-2009 @ 08:33:27   \\GG-060-SV1-000

Failed to install:
 \\GG-060-SV1-000 (10): Connection: Connection error

What could be wrong ?

My ghost-server (of course) crashed, and I had to install a new one. Now I have to manually uninstall, restart and then re-install the ghost client on each and every computer. Can it be done easylier ?

When I try to ghost a 2. partition, it is not able to restart the computer. It just keep trying to call an IP-adress. However, when I make a configuration refresh, the computer boots normally again.
The error code I get i this :

Date   : Tue Sep 29 08:14:01 2009
Error Number: (40102)
Message: Configuration changes can not be performed using a Virtual Partition because the image contains an old Ghost client or no Ghost client.
Version: 8.3.0.1331 (Nov 28 2005, Build=1331)
OS Version: DOS v7.10
Command line arguments: -clone,dst=1:2,mode=prestore,src=@MCGG790GHO000push88 -batch -sgb -sgt -replace:GVPCFG.BIN=\GHREGUPD.REG
Active Switches :
       AutoName

This is a bit nonsens, because I have uninstalled and re-installed the ghost-client on the computer.

Norton Ghost is a great program - I just need to learn a bit more about it. Sometimes - its tough to take over another mans job and work :-)

Yours sincerly
