  • 1.  Problems with Report (AssetStatus Parameter Query)

    Posted Apr 12, 2011 04:20 AM

    Hi All!

I've one report which won't run for a dedicated security role. Users get the error:

    • An error occurred on the page. Please check the log for more details.
    • There was a failure when running the Report and displaying the results.

When checking the log I can see:

The current user does not have required permission 'read' to load item 'AssetStatus Parameter Query'

I did not manage it to find the needed permissions to run this query resp. where to set permission in sercurity role manager.

Ensure this user has 'Read' permission on 'AssetStatus Parameter Query' report under 'Paremeters' folder of Service and Asset Management folder.

In the security Role Manager, select  the Role and then choose 'Reports' in the View Dropdown label, In the Service and Asset Management folder, there should be Parameters folder and 'Asset Status Parameter Query' report in this.

If you can't find this report in here, you've to add this by clicking on Edit (pencil) icon above and select this report by unchecking service and Asset Management folder, select the report and check the service and Asset Management folder again.this should bring back the missing report.

    Hope this helps.
