Problems running Backup Exec Server service

I have a problem
The service "Backup Exec Server" starts and then stops.
The machine it runs on is a exchange 2003 the machine has crash so I have run an restore.
after this i can't get the serivce to start.
All other back exec services are running.
Running version 12.5
Any one got any idee?

Do you have any specific error that comes up when the service stops?
Have you upgraded your service pack to SP3, or are you running any of the other 2 versions?

Try to uninstall and then re-install the .NET framework.
many errors with stopping BE services result out of a corrupted .NET installation
