Hello everyone, this might be a silly problem but I need some help here. Got two diffenrent cases.

1.- Recently I was upgrading the SEP clients in our servers to SEP 11.0.5002.333, I've installed the client without issue on every server, now I need install it on our IBM HS21 Blades, running Windows Server 2003 Enterprise SP2 (32bits), this blades use Broadcom Advance Control Suite (v.12.2.9.0) to manage NICs (not sure if this has anyting to do) but every time I install the SEP client it connects to the SEPM, updates policies, etc. The problem is when I reboot the server and Network Proteccion become active it blocks all traffic from/to the server, any ideas?

2.- Also on a blade server, this one running Windows Server 2008 R2, I installed the same SEP client, only 64bits this time, everything seemed ok, but yesterday I noticed that even thought the system tray icon looked fine, when I opended the client GUI it show "No protections technologies installed" message. Does anyone know how this can be?

I'm not the SEPM administrator (he is away on vacation) not sure if there has been any changes to the SEP client install package, but the only issues I've had so far are with our Blades, the other servers are working just fine, I really would appreciate any help.

    Thanks.

for the first case; u might have included NTP in your package, it gets activated after reboot only.

creat a new package without NTP.

for second issue try doing a repair of SEP from add/remvoe programs, and registry permission as per this document

Here are a couple useful KB articles that may shed some light on your issues.

One other thing to note, you are running on an older build. Please inform the sys admin that the latest version available is RU7.
