Problems with shortcut display - EV 7.5

Hello.

We've run into some issues with shortcut and attachment display in our EV pilot.

Specifically, embedded images in HTML e-mail that has been archived do not show in the client. Furthermore, attachments do not show. If the "offending message" is forwarded, however, images and attachments show up properly.

The Mailbox Policy is set to include recipient information in header, and to use message body as content of shortcut body. From what I gather, this should ensure that the shortcut basically resembles the original message?

Any help appreciated.

I've found that I only see that happen if the permissions are not entered properly by the user. For instance here if you  use servername\username instead of domain\username this occurs.

Hi,

At the top of the open item does it say 'this item has been archived by enteprise vault'?
It sounds like you are seeing the content of the shortcut perhaps rather than the archived item pulled back from EV.

Dodo,

Yes, well, that is the point. I want the content of the shortcut to display embedded html. The way it is now, the shortcut (in preview pane) looks mangled because embedded html (they use gifs for signatures here) is missing. If I open the archived item, however, everything looks dandy.

Dodo.

On my workstations, everything is working fine.

On my Citrix servers, I get the error you mentioned - "This item has been archived by EV" and the Attachments do not display.

Are there special considerations I need to make for EV Outlook Add in on Citrix?

I installed the EV Client manually in Install Mode......

Thanks.
