Problems on start up

twhitehouse's picture

I have two malfunctions on start up each time my computer starts up.  I have uninstalled and reinstalled Symantec and this problem does not go away.  I can 'Fix All' and everything gets fixed.  Now, there is no red x over my Shield symbol in the bottom right system tray.  One of the malfunctions is the proactive threat protection.  The other malfunction is the antivirus and antispyware protection.  I have scanned my computer and found no viruses.  It just appears that Symantec Endpoint Protection 11 will not start up correctly.  Any ideas?
