Problems with Symantec Installation Manager - times out when "Verifying products for download. Please wait..."
I wait and wait and after about 40+ minutes I get error messages:
"The following products were unable to be verified for download:
<Insert various components of CMS (the product I have selected in SIm to be installed) here. This appears to be fairly consistent in the components listed, but has changed occasionally.>
Check your Internet connection and click Retry, od click Cancel to go back and modify your selection."
I have tried running SIM on a couple of different networks, both of which have worked fine with SIM, until recently, so the problem isn't at my end. I have had a cuple of Symantec techs confirm to me today that Symantec has had an outage of some sort, (a licensing server or something i think) since yesterday afternoon (Monday afternoon/evening US time - I'm in Australia). They both said that the issue should have been resolved by now, but I'm still banging my head against a wall here.
If there's anybody in the US that is having a similar problem and would like to take over chasing Symantec about this until I am back on-line in another eight hours or so, then pleae feel free... Otherwise... I'll call APAC support in the morning, again...

If you look at the log it says something about problems contacting lindon.extranet.altiris.com or something like that. Wonder if someone threw a switch at Symantec incorrectly

Getting same error in Sunny NJ at 2:30pm est
OK... I'm back on-line and we are still having problems...
This is starting to get serious...
I now only have less than one day to set up a demo of CMS/DS for a potential new client.
How can an outage as serious as this happen for this long?
