Problems with sysfer.dll (Code integrity)
Code Integrity is unable to verify the image integrity of the file \Device\HarddiskVolume3\Windows\System32\sysfer.dll because the set of per-page image hashes could not be found on the system.
I get similar warnings with respect to WpsHelper.sys (and af few others):
Code Integrity determined an unsigned kernel module \Device\HarddiskVolume3\Windows\System32\drivers\WpsHelper.sys is loaded into the system. Check with the publisher to see if a signed version of the kernel module is available.
I seems to be a problem when I buy and download WMA files. When mediaplayer try to get the DRM license from 247base.com I get an error and the log event related to sysfer.dll.
When I remove SEP I have no problems getting the license and can play the music.
Does any experience the same and maybe have solved the problem?
Comments
I also have this same problem running SEP MR2_MP1 on windows server 2008 standard. The same two files give these messages upon boot. Other than the messages everything appears to be working as expected. Anyone found a solution to this yet?
Make a new install package without network threat protection component, the file sysfer.dll is part of this. It happened to me with other software and I fixed by this way.
I hope it work for you.
