  • 1.  Problems upgrading 12.1.3 to 12.1.4

    This is the second instance that I have had issues upgrading from RU3 to RU4 at two different customer sites. I am rapidly losing confidence in Symantec EndPoint SBE as a product

    Why do I get this error? EndPoint install will now not start the manager and its staus is set to disabled in services. Looks like I will have to fully remove the product and rebuild from the recovery file, this is very poor

    Hi Brian

     

    I have managed to resolve this by running the repair (re-running the 12.1.4 setup) and picking up the recovery file

     

    This had do be done as the endpoint protection manager service had gone from the services list after the failed upgrade. Hence I could not run the log's you required
