  • 1.  Process Type Action Form Won't Close

    I have just created a Process Type Action that has a simple form and shows some information based on the ReportID.  The form opens as a virtual window (Open In a New Window is not ticked in the PTA setup) and stays open even when I finish the form workflow (it reaches the end component).  The form workflow has a "Terminate Form and Close Dialog" component.  I can manually close the form using the cross in the top right of the virtual window.

    This is occuring in Workflow 7.6 on Server 2012 R2.

    Has anyone else seen this?

    What's the exact WF version you're using?

    This is on version 7.6.4383.462

    I had issues with the subdialogs and virtual windows in certain versions of 7.6 that may also apply to process type actions.  if you're able to do so, maybe try to patch it up a bit and see if the issue persists.

    i'm on 7.6.4383.487.  i'll try to reproduce tomorrow.

    Check INFO2509 for latest fixes and patches for Workflow

    This was fixed in June, in build .462 and higher.
