Profile deletion

Hello All,

Recently i had updated the agent version of all the device that was connected to the app center from 4.0.1 to 4.1. Once the update was done the features were working fine in some of the devices, but few devices had to go through deleting the whole profile from the device an dre install the app center again. it happened, when the update was clicked and had to go through MDM installation on the device.

Has any one been through a similar issue, you comments would be a saviour.

Hello Anoop,

This behavior occurs on devices that were upgraded with the 4.1 App Center App (ACA) at a later date, as opposed to shortly after our SaaS servers were upgraded to 4.1. It is a timing issue related to the renewal of our MDM certificate. Any affected device in this condition will need to have its MDM profile manually uninstalled to allow the new profile to install successfully.

The latest upgrade to our SaaS servers, version 4.1.5 does not force the MDM profile re-installation if it already exists on the device. Please rebuild your native iOS ACA so that it contains the latest code revisions. Devices that were not yet affected by this behavior will not experience this issue with the 4.1.5 version of the ACA.
