We have internal applications that need certain user defined data folders excluded from antivirus scans.  We need to be able to programatically exclude these folders during the initial installation of the application and also at runtime via the application if the users choose to change their data locations.  Can this be done?  And if so, how?  I have scanned the registry and disk for editable config files but could not find anything but binaries.
