Program:Extensis - Universal Font Server
This application is getting blocked by Symantec End Point MR5.
This application uses port 8080 and 3125.
The Centralized Exception did not work.
Any suggestions?

Is your firewall set to allow

Is your firewall set to allow traffic on these two ports? if so, then allow logging on your firewall rules to troubleshoot where the traffic is being blocked.

Are you running the font

Are you running the font server on the same system as your SEP manager? What SEP 11client features are you running?

Try stopping the SEP website

Try stopping the SEP website in IIS and see if the font server works. It is possible that the font server and SEP are having conflicts with the default website.

Turn of firewall in one

Turn of firewall in one client and in the Extensis - Universal Font Server
For this in registry

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Symantec\Symantec Endpoint Protection\SMC

smc_engine_status 0 – means turned OFF 1- turned ON.

Check whether it is working.
If working create a new rule in firewall to allow 8080 and 3125 ports and keep it in top.
For this refer these links
