Protection 5.1 for SharePoint(R) Servers and Sharepoint 2007
I´m sorry, but I haven´t found a other category:
Dear all,
a few days ago we installed Protection 5.1 for SharePoint(R) Servers.
We activated EMail notification, and got some messages like this:
This is a information about an scanprocess by Symantec(TM) Protection 5.1 for SharePoint(R) Servers.
Date: 11/18/2009 11:13:01
Source: sue-sps-fe-01.Dornbracht.local
Request Mode: Scan Request
Type: Warning
Process type: Real-time scanning (by access).
Result: No action
File: realtime://sharepointservername//filename.xlsx
Filesize: 31,36 Mbytes
Process time: 71,053 seconds
Description: The file is encrypted. No action was taken.
But the file is really NOT encrypted. More than one file is affected.
We have temporarly deactivated the blocking of encripted files, because before the User of the Sharepoint Servers got the Message, that the file ist virus suspected, because of a unscannable/encrypted file.
We don´t like this behavior of Protection for Sharepoint.
Can anyone help about this?
Thank You.
Best regards
Martin

Everything works better when everything works together.

It could be a corrupted cell that the product cannot read. It sucks to troubleshoot...
