    Hi,

I am evaluating Protection Engine for Cloud Services 7.5 features using trail version.

When I am trying to scan password procted document using this trial version Protection Engine returns with CLEAN file status.

As the document is password protected, Scan Engine can not have access to this document's content.

In this case, how come it returns with CLEAN status??

Hi, It is default feature of SPE to return clean for encrypted files. It is same for Trial version or real product. If you want SPE to block or delete the file, you have to make Encrypted file handling policy as needed. On the SPE Web console, (1) go to [Policies]->[Filtering]->[Container Handling] tab, (2) enable "Enable Encrypted Container Handling", (3) select "Block" or "Delete" setting and (4) select ">>" icon on the left top to save and enable the setting. Hope this helps, Haro
