Symanec Protection Suites

Hi,

This is customer requirement.

Can we support ?

1. PC protection - 50 units, running OS Win 7, Win 8, Win XP,

2. Server protection - 20 units, running OS Window 2012, Window 2003, Window 2008

Among the servers some are VMs Hyper-V, how do you size the license for this kind of deployment?

We have a window mail server, software SmarterMail. Can you support?

We would like to have central management as well, where all PC and Server AP management, update and scan is done from a central server

Please advice solution accordingly

70 license to start and it depends if you're going to add more. Obviously you have the SEPM but each client still needs an agent locally for protection. Is it just a mail server? What exactly are looking to do with it, just protect?

SEP can be deploy on Virtual env I mean on (Vms & Hyperv)

Yes, just protect Mail server.

 

Yes SEP can be deployed in a virtual environment. SPS is a suite which contains a few different symantec products. Yes SEP should protect it but do you want it to scan incoming and outgoing mail? This may be problematic since only Exchange and Domino are supported.
