PST Migration
Hi, I'm using EV10, Outlook2010, Exch2010. I am doing a PST migration. I have several users who have items which are not eligible for archiving. I don't know what these items are. In one case it's 94 items 25,000 in the PST file which weren't archived. We archive all message classes that are defined by default in EV. I found an article which said to enable "Archive unexpired Calendar Events" as this could be the issue. So I have turned this to "on". Is there anyway to rerun the import to see if this was the issue?
Is there any way to tell what message classes weren't ingested or what items failed? I have noticed that there are items of type IPM.Schedule which aren't in EV, as calendar items are called IPM.Appointment, but these work anyway...?
Thanks,

1. Manually open the PST in Outlook and turn the Message Class view on and check which message class are not archiving.
2. Enable dtrace and check the dtrace to see which message class are not archiving and then match them up.
please Check PST Migrator report file . Report files are created in the Reports subfolder of the Enterprise Vault installation folder.
what PST Migration method do you use
We had a couple of interesting message classes appear, so I have set the PST migration message class to "*" which catches everything. Seems to be working. Thanks for your replies.
I've seen many people specifically set their PST policy to use 'all' message classes, just because in the dim and distant past who knows what sorts of 'odd' mesage classes might be lurking out there.
Many Thanks,
Rob
