PST Migration Error "CMigrator/PI/e"
Hello Everyone,
I have tried to migrate 3 * 1.5GB PST files in the same time. However, it has error message from the event log. I have searched from the Symantec/Google but no clue on it.
Do anyone know what's meaning of the "CMigrator/PI/e"?

Actually, we installed the new EV (8.0.3) to our system.
Meanwhile, when I migrate the failed job again, the same error wrote to the event log....

Essentially you have received
Essentially you have received an error, which we can't/didn't handle, when processing an item in the PST. The best advice would be :-
a) Try to grab the original/source PST
b) Dtrace migratorserver (and possibly storagearchive)
c) Open a call with Symantec Support
Hope that helps,

I used dtrace to monitor the process, it seems this is the problem from calendar items.
Anyway, I will try to disable the calendar items and see what's going on.

Anyway, I have raised this problem to symantec support engineer. I will update this thread once I have solution from Symantec Engineer

Hello Viktor, Support said
Hello Viktor,
Support said this is a issue in EV and will include the fix in 8.0 SP4
After the investigation, if we configure the shortcut content from "Message Body" to "Custom". The problem will be fixed immediately. However, the custom option will make shortcut to pain text.
For my workaround, I will still keep "Message Body" as the shortcut content policy and will not archive the calendar items (Including IPM.schedule*) in the PST migration policy. After all items moved to the user mailbox, the mailbox policy will archive them immediately.
Thanks,
Xcraft
Just to clarify that this is
Just to clarify that this is not officially accepted in to EV 8 SP 4. In fact the escalation that I sent to Engineering requested a fix in a future service pack (which essentially would be 8 SP 5, or 9 SP 1).
In addition the issue is :-
Calendar items with attachments
PST Import policy setting the shortcut need to "full message body".
If you do as xcraft suggested and import the PST without IPM.Appointments selected as a message class, then regular items in a PST will get migrated, and non-eligible items (eg calendar items, with attachments!) will get moved to the mailbox, provided you have opted to create shortcuts in the mailbox for the migrated items. The archiving task will then pick those items up on it's next pass, and archive them. Also if you change your PST Import shortcut policy to be "custom", and say use the first 200 chars of the message, then you don't get the problem.
Hope that helps,

Hello,
OK, maybe the shortcut option is the issue of our customer. I will have a look at it.
