Hi,I need some more info

Updated

Hi,

I need some more info about environment.

Is this Issue happening on 1 machine or multiple machines??

Which version of SEP are you carrying??

If clients are manged by SEPM, check SEPM is updaetd or not ?

If it's unmanaged clients try to run liveupdate manually.

Several variables can keep the PTP definitions from updating, although when seeing the errors above can be attributed to a policy or a GPO that prevents the Symantec Endpoint Protection client from trusting the Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager for the PTP definitions. This can also prevent the updated Symcert from being trusted and installed into the Windows Certificate Store

Proactive Threat Protection definitions will not update, showing "Waiting for updates" or initial install definitions

Thanks and Regards,

Dear Bahisht   Please find

Dear Bahisht

Please find below step Symantec Proactive Thereat Protection OFF

Proactive Threat Protection (or Truscan) is referred to as SymHeurProcessProtection within the client registry.
(Please take a back up of the registry before deleting)
Delete the key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Symantec\Symantec Endpoint Protection\AV\Storages\SymHeurProcessProtection
Upon Deleting the KEY it becomes Green and shows waiting for update (In case PTP is OFF)
Repair the SEP from add or remove program
This will update the PTP
