Public Folder Archiving - Event 3227 being raised when synchronizing PF permissions
Updated: 21 May 2010 | 4 comments
do anyone else see this event when archiving public folders?
http://seer.entsupport.symantec.com/docs/287672.htm
the article above tells me to remove exchange properties from any account mentioned in the event, assuming they will always be dead accounts etc, in our case they are not all dead accounts so this is not an option..
I can't see any way to synch an indevidual Public Folder as the functionality appears not to have been included, which makes testing solutions to this somewhat of a challenge, since all we can do is a full archive run against our Public Folder tree, this can take several days to complete
Anyone got any good ideas/tips around Public Folder archiving?

SP6 resolved the Event 3227
SP6 resolved the Event 3227 issue, but synchonising public folder permissions still does not seem to work reliably, we often find users who have permissions to a public folder, failing to obtain permission to the archive for that same folder
