Deployment Solution

We have recently installed and DS 6.9 and are in the process of learning this new application. We can successfully take and deploy images of PC's using the installed AClient.

One task that I would like to do is pull a report of all installed applications\patches from a specific PC with the AClient installed. From the Deployment Console, I can right click on a computer and choose
properties and view the list of applications, however I cannot see any method of exporting that information into a report. I would be certain that this can be done.

Any information anyone can give me to inform what the process is to obtain a report of installed applications\patches from a PC through DS would be appreciated. Our Altiris server has both the Notification Server and DS 6.9 installed. I do not have or own licenses for Inventory Management or any of the other Altiris components.

DS doesn't have any built in reporting functionality, NS is built for that. You could write a SQL query to pull the information directly from the eXpress database.

I'm pretty sure you can do this with NS.  Under http://NSSERVERNAME/NS/Console.aspx (reports tab) or you can run the reports from the "6.5" console:  http://NSSERVERNAME/Altiris/Console/ (View ---> Reports).

I apologize as I am a bit rusty on these reports.
